Signing Up For Your Affiliate Link
Once you become a Consultant, you will be assigned an affiliate that will be your first and last name unless another name is requested. Your affiliate link will be emailed to you in your welcome letter. For existing Consultants without a link, you can email sboone@colorme.com to let us know you want to reactivate your business and receive a link.
How To Use Your Personal Affiliate Link
Your custom link will show as www.colormebeautiful.com/yourname or www.floriroberts.com/yourname. When you use your Color Me Beautiful link, you and your customers can shop across all brands. This is the only link that allows you this privilege. All other brand links allow you to shop within that brand. When you use the link above, you and your client will be directed to the main website and need to select the category (Makeup, Skincare etc.) Note that you nor your customer will not see your name after you enter the website using your link although we know that it’s you.
If you want to direct a customer to a particular product using your link, do the following: Use your link above to go to the website and copy the code that shows in the address bar that shows /?p=r1MQsw0sPq . This is your personal code that you can now add the a product URL. To see the URL for Color Me Beautiful Color Renew Lipsticks, click on Makeup, Lips then Color Renew Lipstick.
Copy the URL in the address bar which will look like this: colormebeautiful.com/collections/lipstick/products/color-renew-cream-lipstick. Add your /?p=r1MQsw0sPq behind the word lipstick which will then direct your client to the lipsticks shopping with you. The link that you share will look like this: colormebeautiful.com/collections/lipstick/products/color-renew-cream-lipstick/?p=r1MQsw0sPq
Follow the same process regardless of which product you want to promote. This is a great way to promote specific products and then share your link.
If you want to create a shortened link, consider signing up on bitly.com to create a short link that can be sent to clients and posted on your social pages.
How Do You Know That A Customer Used Your Link?
Once a customer shops and checks out, you will immediately receive a email notification that will look like this and have the brand logo at the top:

A recent purchase by (Customer Name) is due to your fantastic efforts in promoting your business!
We value your partnership and and appreciate how you are engaging your customers.
